This place is absolutely amazing. Well worth the money & time, and I cannot recommend it enough. I played The Curse and we all had a blast. Our game master, Zachary, was one of the best GMs I have had in a game (I’ve played around 40 games now). They did an excellent job at reading our group’s energy and feeding off of it to ensure that we all were laughing and having fun the entire time. They’re incredibly patient, hilarious, and eccentric which is everything that makes for an amazing game master. Thanks Zachary! The game, The Curse, was so much fun. It is slightly interactive, which I love in escape rooms. The GM interaction can make or break this game for sure, and ours (as already stated) was great. The room itself is the right amount of scary for people who like scary but can’t do anything over the top, like myself. I would call it “spooky” rather than scary, as I do think families would definitely enjoy this game. The story, immersion, puzzles, and special effects were top notch in this room! I can’t wait to play the other ones. Clever Fox’s customer service overall is very good. We briefly spoke with another one of the employees here and even in a short interaction you can tell that the employees here love their job and bring that energy to the table. I live a little far from Menifee, but will absolutely be making the drive back up. It’s so worth it. Definitely go here.
